All Saints Church, Iwade

30 June 2016 | Sectors | Heritage, Heritage Featured, News

The beautiful church of All Saint’s in Iwade, Kent, dates originally to the 13th century. It has rubble walling with a flint and rubble walled tower.

CTP inspected the building, diagnosing foundation movement and other local defects in the ragstone walls. Proprietary anchors were installed over the full length of the south aisle above the crown of window arches to distribute movement evenly and reduce risk to fabric.
