Archbishop Courtney school, Maidstone was constructed on behalf of KCC and replaces two aging infant schools within the Town. CTP were involved with the design development from an early stage through to construction.
The school caters for 300 pupils and is constructed utilizing a two-way spanning concrete 1st floor, to comply with progressive collapse requirements. The site is sloping and several retaining walls were introduced to enable access road to be constructed. The project value was £6.5m.
