Our work continues on the adaptation of this Grade II* listed mansion into fine apartments. The Georgian roof was poorly framed, had sagged by 160mm and remained at risk. We designed strengthening that allowed the roof to be carefully jacked level by permitting a single saw-cut in each of two timber cross beams.
