St Andrews United Reform Church, Canterbury

The new Church replaces an existing Church relocated as part of Canterbury City redevelopment.  The Church was constructed on a site of great architectural significance.  The first stage of the developed to carry out an Archaeological investigation.

Foundations were piled because of their minimal impact on the artefacts below and they were placed in consultation guidance from the Archaeologists.  The structure is largely steel framed with elements of reconstructed reinforced stone and concrete upper floors.
