Tonbridge School

The school has an enviable collection of historic buildings. Into the heart of these architect BDP has carefully inserted a new science extension of great quality and environment. A tall, open lecture theatre, echoing the Royal Society, has been created within the nineteenth century classroom block. Occupied in January 2019, the project has already won the IStructE South-East region heritage award.
