The scheme was to provide several industrial units for SME’s as well as a new bespoke home for the renowned Dance company, Jasmin Vardimon Company.
This project was sponsored by Kent County Council on land adjacent to their Highway Depot in Ashford Kent.
CTP provided both Civil and Structural engineering design services for both the Industrial units and the Dance Studio.
Prior to construction, the site suffered from significant surface water flooding, but through the use of various forms of SuDS and permeable surfaces, there is no evidence of any flooding following heavy rainfall.
These photographs were taken the morning after very heavy rainfall overnight, which can be seen by the ponding on the existing public highway.
