New Avenue Eco Garden

New Avenue Eco Garden has been designed to utilise the top corner of the development for surface water attenuation. The surface water drainage systems for the Phase 1 residential units discharge into the large pond within the Eco Garden. Storm water is stored in the pond and slowly discharges to the public sewer through a flow control device. The pond has a minimum depth to enable pond life to thrive and the water level fluctuates with every storm. The Eco Garden will be planted to create a natural environment that is gated to prevent resident entry, but a footbridge will enable residents to cross the Eco Garden and look down upon the pond.
