Waterbrook Park, Ashford

The project included the design of six steel frame SME Units and a Truckstop building, utilising braced and portalised steel frames, cold rolled purlins and sheeting rails.

The construction of several steel framed buildings including a new truckstop for GSE was carried out at their Waterbrook Development, Ashford.

The truckstop building utilises a braced steel frame with profiled sheet metal deck and concrete composite first floor.

The SME buildings utilise portalised steel frames.

The foundations included both traditional strip and pad with stone column piles introduced where ground conditions required.

The external cladding was generally lightweight and supported by sheeting rails and purlins.
