The construction of a berthing and waiting facilities to maximise the utilisation of maritime transport within the Grand Harbour, Malta between Bormla and Valletta.

Construction of the platform is made up from a number of piles, with precast concrete beams and slabs across each pile to create a unified deck structure with reinforced concrete topping, tying the whole structure. The waiting facility comprises a travertine clad steel framework and insultation panels.

CTP assumed a central role in project management and overseeing the design and construction process.

For this project, CTP have undertaken the design of the gangways and specialised fender system.
