CTP provided structural and civil engineering consultancy service for the construction of a new reception and administration building, designed to seamlessly connect the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 buildings. The project also involved an extensive internal reconfiguration of the existing spaces, which required the removal of load-bearing structures.

The building’s framework features a steel structure to support a tall, long-span roof, which includes complex cantilevered overhangs, as well as two fully glazed elevations.

Existing underground drainage and services added complexity to the substructure. To address this, multiple drains were diverted, and foundation placements were adjusted to avoid existing buried assets.
