Crystal Palace
The Grade II* listed Crystal Palace Subway project was recently handed over to the client, the London Borough of Bromley. The project included the provision of a new glazed roof, extensive renovation of three sets of the stone access stairs and the reconstruction of several brickwork walls to match the existing architecture. In addition, a new drainage was introduced behind the reconstructed walls and from the new roof, which tied into the existing drainage system. Heritage England were keen to replicate the existing drainage layout as much as possible.
CTP provided the Civil Engineering Design Consultancy Services.
